cant download from cachefly.net

always times out

I don't know if it's my DNS provider, firewall or what.  But I simply can not get a connection to the servers to download my purchased software.

 

I haven't looked it up, but maybe cachefly isn't reliable in my neck of the woods or something.


I do know that I purchased a product, and my license "valid days" is ticking down, but I have tried numerous times (from both Chrome and IE and from multiple PCs) to download the product and it always times out on connecting to the url.

 

I requested help from Stardock immediately after ordering, but I haven't heard a thing from them.

 

Any ideas or official, alternate download locations?

We're not seeing any issues with downloads. This can happen with security software or firewalls, but if you still have issues I'd recommend contacting support.

Thanks for the quick reply.  As I said, I opened a support ticket, but I haven't heard anything back from them.


It is probably a firewall issue, I agree, but I can't justify removing cachefly.net from our restricted list if it is on there for some, valid reason (IDK what that reason would be, but I don't watch malware sites for a living).  One would think they would have some other provider or way to download.
