skin management, locking default settings??

Hi all!

Okay, I love WB, and have been having a ball playing with new themes, and am amazed at how stable WB is across many theme loads; in the past (V6 days and earlier) that had been something of a problem...

There is one issue that I'm having with many of the available skins; there are a couple of desktop details that I'm pretty rabid about:

1. A couple of the desktop fonts, I always want to stay where I set them... the most vital is the desktop-icon font, which I set at Caligula 11-point, but also the menu font I want to stay fixed (Lucida Calligraphy).

2. This is the HOT BUTTON for me!!  - I HATE (as in DESPISE, ABHOR, PUKE ON) that damned 0xFFFFFF (Blindingly Bright White) background color for main windows, that everybody in the world, especially Microsoft, is convinced that I cannot live without !!!!!!!!!!!! ACK!!!!!!!!!!

The first I can actually live with, since I can change it back (one theme at a time) in Personalize dialog, but it would be nice if I could just tell WB - "never let a theme change these fonts".

However, item 2 is going to be death for me... I probably can spend a week with SkinStudio, learning how to change that one attribute, and then spending another month changing every single one of the themes that I want to use... But gods, it would be wonderful if I could set:

GLOBAL ABSOLUTE

  if background == 0xFFFFFF

  then background = 0x7F7F7F

Is there any possible way that I can manage this???

BTW, I'm using Win7 64-bit, and not planning on upgrading any time soon...
