I specifically bought a new subscription in November of  last year for windows blinds only to find it is not up to spec. Any word on when they will get it finished?

Dear Sirs:

I recently had to do a clean install of Windows 10 because my original installation was corrupted and do a Reset didn't fix it, therefore.  I would like to reinstall Start 10 but I want to do it properly so I don't get a email from you folks saying "Your trial version is going to run out and you need to pay for it before then."  I know the proper key for my laptop, do I just put that in when I do the reinstall or is there a preferred method you wish me to use.

  Sincerely yours

James N Keller

You just need to install and activate the way you normally would.

Um, could you post how you did it so the rest of us can find out??? :annoyed: When I'm in Start10 under Style the down arrow next to "Use WindowBlinds Button" is non-responsive so I don't appear to have any option to NOT use the WindowBlinds button!

In WB 10 you can set WB to always use the OS button for the start button.  This is on the settings page in WB.  Once set you should be able to reopen the Start10 settings and change the start button style to whatever you want.

That sounds like the same problem I had, maybe. I was wanting the Start 10 menu to match the Windowblind and there were no options to change anything for the style/color. Having an olive green start menu with an amethyst purple taskbar was jarring to say the least!

The options I found that worked are  go to personalization in the control panel and change the system color to something that matches the windowblind color. This seems to be the only option if you are using the Windows 10 style menu in Start10. Option 2 if you don't mind losing the Windows10 style, which means losing the tiles is to change to the Modern style. In that style the option to use the Windowblinds start menu works fine so your start menu will look like whatever the skin designer made.
