Looking for a feature

I'm looking for the ability to hide portions of the desktop from input and viewing.  There's a lot to Object Desktop, so I'm not quite sure where to start looking


For example, if I wanted to put a 100 pixel red rectangle around the edge of the screen that was forced to be the front window.  The user could still click on the content inside the 100 pixel red boundary, but could not access any of the content behind the red rectangle.  Does some feature of Object Desktop support this?

Not sure what you are calling content. If you are talking about say program and folder icons check out the link below for Stardock Fences. It's available as a stand alone and it is included with a ObjectDesktop subscription.
