[HELP] Fences 2.13 fences missing and icons within.

Hello.

 

I'm hoping someone can help me here. I have a Windows 8.1 PRO PC with multiple monitors. The other day I noticed that all my fences and their icons were missing. I double clicked on the screen to make sure they weren't hidden and that did not help. I then restored the previous days layout and the fences all returned.

 

Today, I just noticed the same thing happened again. I tried again to restore a previous snapshot of the desktop, but this time it did not work. I tried a complete shutdown and reboot and still the fences are gone. I do have a single icon on my desktop that wasn't part of any fence before. If I double click the desktop the icon disappears. Double click again brings it back, so the Fences aren't hidden, they are missing and not showing. Has anyone else had this issue and if so is there a way to fix it?

Do you use pages?

 

Try sweeping in from the screen edge. Maybe you have swept them off screen?

 

Just a guess. I had similar problems using pages on multiple monitors, and support never got me straightened out, so I quit using pages.

I have the same issue.  An entire fence with all of its icons went missing.  But the those missing icons still show if I go to the desktop folder. If I try to drag one of them to a newly created fence, Windows 10 reports that the icon is already there.  Very strange. 

I would hope that the missing fence is recoverable.
