APPCRASH

from Stardock Forums

As my computers booted up this morn, Objectdock crashed for most “Objectdock has stopped working”. None of my licenses would activate. I purchased a 3rd license but it would mot activate either. As I understand it, this should be enough for 15 computers. OD works on just 1 of our 7. The trial does not work either. Please advise.

The problem is Windows Update file KB 3097877 from last night's update push from Microsoft. Uninstalling that update will fix the crash problem.

This issue also affects Winstep applications, causes Outlook to crash when an HTML email is received, breaks the Windows 7 Sidebar gadgets, causes serious log-in issues and kills Asus Audio Center.

Microsoft of today = Idiots

'Only' took them 36 hours to solve the problem and during all that time the faulty patch kept being pumped through Windows Update even though they already knew about the problem.

And I bet the *only* reason they fixed it was because it affected their own precious Outlook (that is all they admit to anyway).

actually i found some details about fixing this appcrash as you can see

so they write about something scanning your computer by using some antivirus and registory cleaner and you know what 

it solve my problem 

thanks for help jafo , i'll give you my "auto-generated ticket number" if i got this problem next time
