cannot uninstall expired object desktop items

I no longer can afford your service and let it expire.  My issue is that I cannot see any items on object desktop, so cannot use it to uninstall these items from my hard drive.

 

Addendum: I also let this expire due to the fact that I swapped to windows 10 and cannot use them.  Also when I try to uninstall items I receive an Invalid uninstall control file:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\SoundPackager\uninstall\uninstall.xml. 

 

This error does not allow me to delete the program as you can see, and there are several Object Desktop files like this.

Try Revo Uninstaller if you haven't already.  They have a free version.  I suspect the problem occurred because you upgraded to W10 without first uninstalling the OD apps.  You may have to navigate in Revo to the specific .exe for each app if they do not automatically appear in the Revo installed apps window.

Hope that gets the job done.

Failing that, the presence of the apps may not cause any issues as long as you don't try to run them.  They can probably sit there innocently.

Question. Was one of the OD apps Iconpackager?

Yes, Icon Packager is one of them...the only one I was able to successfully uninstall was my favorite one, Fences 2.....lol

Don't try to uninstall Iconpackager. Instead send an email to support@stardock.com. IP can cause some damage to Win 10 when you try to uninstall it. Support can help you through that process.
