What OS are you running? If Windows 10 Iconpackager is not compatible and will not work correctly. If you're on 8/8.1 sometimes reapplying the icon pack helps.

Do you know if there will be an update to be compatible with windows 10?

Please update Icon packager to Windows 10 standard. Sure, I can change icons manually through properties and the registry, but really, that ugly shield is getting on my nerves and it seems the default Win 10 start menu doesn't like displaying regular program icons, yet it always get's whatever is considered a store app's icons correct

Of what I'm aware, Microsoft purchases rights to others software/technologies and incorporates them into their Windows OS's.. For instance 'zip folders' was bought from another company around the time of W95...  I think it would not be so far fetched for them to work with Stardock. A front-runner in most things making Windows visually better and also work to make working in Windows better.
