Congratulations!
It would be great if you could add some more information about the tool, more information is needed because the www. offers more than twenty of these tools.
Please name the version and the company/ person who created it.
If you don’t know the name or the site where you downloaded the tool things will be a bit difficult.
Aero Glass (junkware) is not a Stardock Product as far as i know therefore your chances are slim to get proper support for it.
I even doubt that you will get any support from the original creator of the tool.
-But since it’s hard to make out the actual problem from your written text, I will also cover some steps for you to unload windowblinds just to make sure that windowblinds does not interfere with aero glassjunk.
There is a possibility that Aero glass is running, but you can’t see it due to the fact that windowblinds is running with a different theme.
That is why you could try unloading windowblinds first.
To do so:
1. Click on your taskbar , move the mouse cursor to the notification area.
click the little arrow and look for some colored icon that says windowblinds.
Click it and open windowblinds.
or…
press and hold Windowskey+Q now type windowblinds and click enter
2. Select the windows standard theme and apply it.
3. unload windowblinds.
4. Restart the system
5. install the aero glass junkware if you wish to do so.
be it with admin privileges or compatibility modes.
Ask the creator of the tool why you even have to bother doing that…
6. hope and pray that it works.
7. Get some malware cleaner asap.
8. good luck
Thank you, I'll think of some other ideas
I'm a bit baffled why you're trying to run aeroglass with WindowBlinds...
WindowBlinds provides the same effect, does it in a much more efficient, and far cleaner, way. Aeroglass served it's purpose prior to WindowBlinds being released, but it's not an elegant solution, especially when WindowBlinds provides the same ability and more. To garnish the same effect in WindowBlinds, you'll need to use SkinStudio [I recommend the Windows 8 metro skin as the base to build upon] to edit the tga and png files. It will take time, however if you spend the time doing it, you'll come away with a phenomenal looking gui that's one of a kind and is exactly what you want.
Not only is Aero Glass an actual product, it's not "junkware", and is actively supported [has been since it's release shortly following the release of Windows 8].
Support can be found on the MSFN forum.

OH so it’s not potentially filled with junkware?
Go ahead and download it from chip, i dare you. file size 3.9 MB and scanned for viruses with kaspersky
Scan your system with MB and see what pops up afterwards.
I say it´s junkware, since there are executables that exceed the original file size of the installer, so shouldn’t it be mention that it can contain such?
The original file size is 2.2mb btw.
Supported or not- infected or not?
Better be safe than sorry
Just a question - do you say that WindowBlinds provide blur/glass effect, renders it transparently directly in DWM process as a part of desktop composition without a need for additional resources and using HW-accelerated Direct3D/Direct2D?
So are you saying that it is junkware just because you downloaded it from some 3rd party source? If I download WindowBlinds from chip, does it mean it is junkware?
Answer to original question - as I know, you cannot have WindowBlinds theme with my Aero Glass effect together, because WindowBlinds disable DWM rendering on windows and completely override theme rendering.
