Saved game wont load with Mods enabled

Hey,

 

So I have an existing campaign saved game, and I wanted to muck around with mods, but the saved game won't load with mods enabled (they weren't enabled when I started the game).  The game gets to the saved game loading screen and the galaxy just spins forever.

 

Working as intended?

Modded games and unmodded games don't mix. You cannot activate mods when running a vanilla game of what I know. I can agree that the game should rather just refuse to load in the first place and give an error message instead of bugging out.

 

This should be in the support forum, no?
