Install on Windows 10

Hi

I cannot install WindowBlinds 8.12 on Windows 10 Pro.

I have removed all traces of Stardock files from the PC.  Downloaded new Object Desktop Manager, and installed it.

After that I have tried to install WB8.12 in two different ways.

1) Through ODM:  Install does not seem to do any download on WB install (it shows 100% immediately), and the install process stops with "Problem:  Code 101".

2) By downloading WindowBlinds_8.12_setup_sd.exe directly:  Install says "The following minimum system requirements for this setup were not met: Operating System: Windows 7, ...., Windows 8.1, ....  The setup will now abort".  The message mentions every windows version starting from 7 up to but not including Windows 10.

Windows 10 is not supported hence the message.

I won't be upgrading to my free version of Windows 10 until Windowblinds works with it. that's for sure.

I was able to get it to install on Windows 10 by setting the install file's Compatibility to Windows 8. It works but the taskbar will be wonky. Other than that, it appeared to work okay (very limited testing however).

OK. Fair enough.  It would have been nice if ODM gave a proper message about this.  If you try to install "Start10" from ODM, it gives an incompatibility warning.  That's how it should be.
