Can some one confirm if DeskScapes works on Windows Server 2012 and 2016 preview

Can some one confirm if DeskScapes works on Windows Server 2012 (based on Win 8.x) and 2016 (based on Win10) preview?

im only asking since after the latest news regarding Windows Server 2016 that I personal may use it as my default OS, Why.. ? it has ever thing That win10 has but with out all the garbage that comes with win10 ..

as seen here http://www.winbeta.org/sites/default/files/news/Desktop_on_Windows_Server_2016.png  and btw the Win 8.1 RT version has a way better looking startmenu then what Win10 got sacked with. as seen here http://www.winbeta.org/sites/default/files/news/winrtu3pre_0.jpg

i dont see much difference except different placement of where things are in the menu

wont be much help in a preveiw as its a preveiw and no1 knows the outcome of an unfinished os

this is why only now are they working on updates to 10

with the right knowhow you can make windows 10 start menu look like the one you showed us though, although i saw minimal change

if im not mistaken the settings menu alone has a turn on off feature for some if not all the things in the startmenu alone just a click off and it can be cleaned up to how you like

perhaps there is a purpose you want the server for but i honestly dont see it.i thought those are mainly for commercial advantages

i may be a windows fanboy somewhat but eh ive beta windows 10 and its full now and honestly i think its the best os,once you learn how to do things.it does come with a get started guide.you can start from there or forum suggestions

deskscapes works in 10,if you dont use task view button or command for now.thats the best insight i can give you

first off I been useing win10 since the first build and I too em kind of a MS/WIn fanboy..

second Deskscapes dose not work at all on Win10 RTM, fully updated, drivers, and codects and deskscapes jsut freezes on startup,

the thing with Server 2016 is Cortona is not included, Modern apps are not included, and the only negative thing I can see is edge is included

3 Main things I hate about win10 is Cortona, Modern apps, and edge.. I like the old Search more, IE is far better, and modern apps are complete useless when there's a lot more powerful win32 apps that do the same thing plus more.

the only reason why I reimaged back to win8.1 was due to the fact deskscapes fails to work at all on win10 so until there's a update that's 110% full compatible with Win10 Ill have to hold out in re-updating until then

I m tempted to do a clean install with Server 2016 how ever since it has al lthe updated *Code* that win10 has with out all the garbage that win10 (minus edge) it has edge.. ewwww

IMO Win8.1 with Start8 and Modern Mix is the best OS right now... Assuming you even use the modern apps.. if not Win8.1 with start8...

only real thing wrong with 8.x is PC setting / setting.. ever thing should have been mirgated to CP... WE DON"T NEED A APP FOR THAT... <<same with win10...

somethings wrong with your computer then as i didnt have to add extra codecs and i run deskscapes flawless,as long as i dont use task view.also you are aware the server ones for a liscence is like 3000 dollars right? its meant for server admins, not normal everyday joes

most of your complaints can also be turned off easy ie still exists cortana can be shut off and hidden if you choose and if you unpin all the modernmix things on the screen the start menu reverts back to classic,or you can just use a third party.

also i dont think stardock has plans to update their apps to work with server system.im pretty sure its scripted even more different, and stardock usually sticks to main oses as does many people out there in this world
