Bottom left hot corner in Windows 10

In Start 8 there's a choice under the "Desktop" section to "Disable bottom left hot corner when the taskbar overlaps it."  Why isn't this option in Start 10?  I can't get rid of the "Search the web and windows" long grey rectangular block in the bottom left section of the taskbar and it is blocking my Browser icon.


Start 8 is so wonderful, why did they change it at all?  Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this annoyance?

Right click the taskbar,click Search,click show search icon.This seams to work for me.Hope that helps!
