Tasks View is an essential component of Windows 10; I have no choice but to choose essentials over candy until Stardock fixes this issue. I'm quite sure that Stardock has their hands full with Windows 10 glitches and this will be fixed in due course.

task view is not essential windows key plus tab or clicking the icon freezes.for now use the old way holding alt then tab.this version of task view doesnt freeze

 

right click on taskbar and untick the task view icon and dont use that until a new module is ready

 

people been using the old way for ages to switch app view.whats changed.seems like your more interested in windows 10 eye candy ;P
