Activation error, CFX errors saying SID doesn't match. SIG.BIN not in the folder listed in the rror message.

I am trying to install CursorFX 2.16 and though it installed fine and did not error out when I activate, on reboot it generates an error that the product appears to be valid but the machine SID doesn't match. The sig.bin does not exist in the folder listed in the error. in fact I cannot find he sig.bin on the machine anywhere.
