It is right next to the black market. I accidentally bought a 50k shield when someone messaged me. That cost me the game as my power usage exploded in the next few seconds and I was just putting out fires (power, debt, water...) until I got bought out.
....why did you click when you got steam messaged? You can turn off steam visual notifications too. I don't think there's any games that actually take steam messages into account when designing their UI. What would your solution to this problem be? There is no real space on the UI for the black market to be anywhere else. I cannot help but think this particular problem is something you should take into account and avoid on your own...
To get it out of the UI as it was blocking the screen. Is it not possible for the devs to move the notification?
Yes, it is possible. Google is your friend. http://www.overclock.net/t/1001377/how-to-change-the-position-of-steam-notifications-answered is one example. Remember, steam and steam notifications are not changable by mohawk, steam is software owned by valve.
Well, I figured that Valve would allow the developers to customize this or send API requests. Thanks for the link, but it would be better for the developer to do this (if they can).
