Metaverse score degradation test

Don't know if this is of interest to anyone or not, but I thought I would post an interesting observation:

Due to life and other interests for the time being, I have not submitted a Galciv game to the Metaverse is approximately two weeks. In that time, my rank has dropped from 23 to 75! Now, most of that is not my scores becoming lower due to time, but simply how quickly everyone is posting more games.

Personally, this makes it quite a daunting task to try to compete on the Metaverse. I simply do not have the committment for such an undertaking. Not that I am complaining or saying things should change. I just thought it was interesting to note the level of time and committment it currently takes to stay "up there" in the Metaverse. ;)

Um, has your score decayed at all, I seriously doubt
any of your drop is due to decay.

You just stopped playing shortly after 1.05 was released which
greatly inflated the points for games.

Ahh Gwynned. Just compete and have fun. It's not like I'm gonna beat Staffa but hey, that's ok. I do get around him on Gigantic on occasion. And join G.R.O.S.S. and compete with us whenever you can.

Hey, you just got to give time when you can. In my opinion, it is better to participate in the forum and submit a game once in a great while than drop out of sight entirely.

I agree. I probabaly spend more time on the forum than actually playing. ;p

By the way, gwyned, joining an empire adds a lot more fun to the metaverse and forums. The Republic, although not the biggest, is still a fun place to live and raise a family**. :)

Wow! I feel so loved... :D LOL

Now I just have to decide which empire to join...there are just so many! Oh well...maybe I'll wait until after I get to play the expansion some...now that the beta is out, my time away from Galciv has come to an end. But, it'll still have to wait one more day...I'm away from my beloved computer for the 4th.
