Servo 2.0 Beta Changelog

New Stuff

  • Servos can now mix and match weapons - they no longer need two of the same type of weapon. Selecting your Servo in-game, you can switch between which weapon is set to default auto-attack. (Show Automatic Servo Abilities option needs to be on to see the auto-attack buttons)
  • New dialogue system for Singleplayer Campaign - still working on it but let us know what you think.
  • Lots of tweaks and changes to the first four missions in the Campaign.
  • New Map - Tempered Jungle CoOp.  Work in progress map.  Destroy enemy Dropship before time runs out.
  • PVP and CoOp maps have a custom start message that makes the gameplay a little clearer.
  • Darksun PVP and CoOp maps have low resource bloom wells (and a few other changes).
  • Medusa Bloomspawn added (Level 3 mega Bloomspawn).
  • AI Improvements.
  • Dropship Level and Leader added to the Hub menu.
  • Dropship Level moved into the blade so it's in every pregame screen.
  • Armory is now the Lab. New art.
  • New postgame reward design that aims to still reward winner, but makes it much more rewarding to finish the game regardless of win/loss.
  • Pathing is much faster!
  • Ingame Resource Limit is gone.
  • Starting locations randomized, so Player1 doesn't always start in the same spot.
  • Added game speed option (only in normal pause mode).
  • Campaign UI flow tweaks (quit in campaign takes you back to campaign page, restart added)
  • Better temp icons for new buildings.
  • New Turret art.
  • RTS game scales with player level now.
  • Creep shops are now always destroyable.
  • More missile parts.
  • You should always have a low cost item to purchase in Drek's Den.
  • Zeek moved to Dropship Level 5; pilots have more customized unlock messages.
  • Juggernaut Servo announced when unlocked at Dropship Level 4.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Clean up pass made on dialogue for Campaign missions.
  • Fixes for online/offline exploit.
  • Fix for building cancel exploit.
  • Fix for buildings getting stunned on construction.
  • Factory went on a diet. (That means it's smaller now).
  • Fix for push scrolling not working.
  • Various overlapping text bugfixes in UI.
  • Fixed issue where Immunizer would not cancel you out of a stun.
  • Splash screens now allow mouse clicks to skip.
  • Fixed Orbital Strike to do physics again.
  • Fix a few missions where max stage was not set correctly.
  • Rank should update after playing multiplayer game.
  • Better building placement code/rejection.
  • Rewards should be correctly rewarded at end of game now (note, arranged games DO NOT get rewards by design).

I really hope it goes in the next update, Dave foreshadowed some big changes in that update so I really hope you're playing so we can test them out :D
