Issues with my almost satisfying experience.

Currently i am playing as Terran on insane map size. And i found these issues.

 

1. I have noticed that my Knight M1 cost durantium. It is a generated ship. Since it cost strategic resource i expected to have a name that starts with Prototype like other ships

2. Specilizations in tech trading. The issue is that specilization specilization is locked on 1 choice. If you specilize in 1 direction you can still trade other Specilization. You can exploit it by going into a trade screen and research one that isn't avaible. To this issue there are a few possible options. a) On a start game screen Have an options not to be limited to 1 Specilization. b ) A trade screen doesn't show Specilizations in a group that you already have reseached. c) No Specilizations trading, only non-Specilizations tech. The player needs to Specilize themself

3. It is very hard to know when i can trade with an AI. Sometomes i go to their comm screen and only to see that trade is grayed out. And tooltip say "You must wait longer to trade". I would like to know how many turns more until it is possible. I would like to see icon in a power tab to see which one is tradeable.

4. Early game I am having pirate problem. My scouts sometimes find Pirates shipyard. Since i am uneqiped to handle i ignore it. But when i can handle i can no longer find that shipyard on my map. I learned this by hard way. So i use rallypoint to mark a point of interest.

5. Insane Map: Clustered type feels so empty. There are a few stars close, then betwen them it's wast of nothing. Even with very slow research, it feels it's fast

Overall I enjoy overall experience. Issues #2 begs me to exploit. Even if i try not to do, i can easly click and get it.

#2 is not an exploit, working as intended.  The devs have stated before that you can trade for the other specializations, this is intentional.

 

#5 Yep the tight clusters is supposed to leave large sections of empty space.  You can make the clusters have more stuff in them by adjusting settings (abundant stars, abundant planets), but you will still have some open space between the clusters.  Working as intended.  You can use the other galaxy types if you want more clutter in your space :P
