Why doesn't it do you any good? You bought a year's subscription to the software. You can download any skin you want, no limitations...and post in the Forums. If you wish to renew your software license subscription a year from purchase you'll (at that point) continue to receive updates for your software as they become available, and continue downloading skins...

It's possible that I didn't understand your question, so can you be more specific?

Wincustomize seems to have a download limit which I hit after just DLing a few items.  Is there somewhere else to DL content for Object Dock?

Seconded.  I've found much value in subscribing to WinCustomize.  Object Desktop has a lot of utility on its own, but access to pre-made, professional themes is what WinCustomize is about.  One doesn't need WinCustomize to use Object Desktop, but it does extend the feel a lot more.  

Unless the OP is only interested in the custom backgrounds and none of the other features OD has to offer?! 

If you purchased OD there is no download limits. Try signing out and clearing your cookies. When you sign back in you should be able to download without limit.

As JunionCrooks said, as long as your subscription is active you should have unlimited download. You need to make sure you are using the same account that your Object Desktop subscription is on, and clear your browsers cache/cookies as suggested.

Thanks for all the replies! It seems that I did need to reset my cookies, all is good now, and I am loving all the options under Object Desktop and will probably buy Object Dock.  But, what happend to DesktopX?  It is not available anymore? No more widgets/gadgets?

Well, Stardock retired the program, and I, for one, lost interest in making gadgets and widgets. Lost interest in skinning altogether, although, I do take an occasional paid job.
