Ship Designer - How do I rotate my ship to look over, under, front, rear, left, and right?

Dumb question, haha.  *_*

I can't seem to find the controls for manipulating my ship design in 3D space, so it's impossible for me to affix parts to the underside.

click and hold the middle mouse button and drag to expose the underbelly :)

Thanks! 

I don't use a mouse, I use a trackball because nobody makes a left-handed gaming mouse.  So my middle mouse button is the ball itself. 

I have a mouse here someplace...but grrr.
