Windows 10 Menu showing on secondary display

After installing build 10074, the behavior of Start 10/Windows 10 menus changed.

I am running Windows 10 from VMWare with a dual monitor setup.

I have the Start button on the main display only (as configured).

When I click the Start button the Start 10 menu appears as expected.

When I select the Windows 10 menu option from Start 10, the Windows 10 menu appears on the secondary screen only.

When I Ctrl+Start, the Windows 10 menu appears on the secondary screen as well.

I upgraded to the .56 beta of Start 10 to see if it fixed the behavior. It did not.

I uninstalled Start 10 and reinstalled with no luck either.

Having same problem with WX (windows 10) build 10147 and start10.  the Secondary screen shows full menu and can not reset menu to show correctly on secondary screen.  Full memu shows on primary and secondary screen.  Secondary screen should show items running on that screen.

Sure it is just beta stuff but thought I would report too.

Thanks.

Running 10166, I just switched to Windows 10 style.  Task bars displayed on all screens.  And with the Windows 10 style, the menu is displayed only on the primary monitor (Windows 7 style displays the menu on whatever menu the start button is clicked on).

Any chance of getting this fixed, now that Windows 10 is released?  (The behaviour is still the same with the final version, Windows 10 style menu is only displayed on the primary screen, regardless of which start button you click.)

We are aware of the issue and it is on the list for the final 1.0 release to address.

Thanks Neil... guess I have to ask what is the expected date for Release 1.0?  Week, month, year??

Any idea when this will be fixed??

Still occurring with the latest build version 1.01.

The Win10 menu should appear on which ever monitor you clicked the start button on with 1.0 and higher.

What problem exactly are you having?

It works fine for me with the 1.0 release version.  Earlier versions did have the problem, but now the menu shows on whatever monitor I click the start button on.

I wonder whether you might possibly have a partial upgrade, some part remaining from pre-1.0?

I did do an upgrade from Start 8... so next I will totally uninstall and reinstall and see what happens.

That seemed to have corrected the issue.  Thanks for the response!!
