Disable Alt-drag behaviour

How to restore alt-drag to default behaviour in Windows 8.1?

Is it possible to disable the way Fences handles alt-dragging a folder to the desktop by automatically creating a Fences folder group on the desktop?

I'd like to revert to Windows 8.1's default behaviour where alt-dragging a folder to the desktop simply creates a shortcut to that folder.
