0.83 - bugs, issues and observations so far

Many thanks, Stardock, for this new beta.

Report:

- Mining resources are now all white on the map (with the exception of anti-matter)

- Sometimes when you adjust the sfx and ui sound, you get no difference (better than previously though when these sounds disappeared altogether after adjusting them)

- I just had a CTD many turns into a new 0.83 game

- I started with 5000 credits, not the 1000 used in earlier betas - is that intentional?

For the Crash I would recommend you create a support ticket...

For support where examining saves is required, names of ships, planets and starbases, etc, are extremely helpful in their attempts to reproduce the issue.

As far as the credits not sure what drives the starting credits as my custom race is starting with 3000 however, the cost of the colony ships has gone up over the last two builds, which I assuming is them tweaking the balance of the game but IDK.

Thanks, Seilore.

I loaded the game one auto-save turn from the CTD and proceeded from there. It hasn't crashed since.

 

- Bug: planet icons disappear from the list of planets after loading a saved game

- Colonies tab: 3 of the lists here are still wrong (i.e. showing the wrong output as per the column headers)

- Memory optimisation c. 6% better compared to previous patch :)
