They way it is now, I think the windows 10 start menu looks like a mess. the small icons inside tiles to the left makes them barely visible. I think tiles in general are of little use and inferior to traditional icons. live-tiles are just flashy and ugly.the w10 start menu got less functionality than that of windows 7. the lack of drag and drop is one example.

the start10 menu looks a loot better, but it is essentially just a copy of the windows 7 start menu which is 5 years old.

have you considered making start 10 an evolution of the old windows 7 start menu? something it could have been had microsoft not taken the wrong turn with windows 8, live tiles etc?
