Go to run, type command, then type ipconfig /all, you should be able to get your IP there.

if you are behind a router... which is a NAT fire wall, regardless of your Operating system it will not know your real IP. Your OS will see your network IP which your router will assign you. 192.168.1.100 etc. To see you actual IP that you receive from your ISP you can see it on your router usually thru a browser interface by entering your routers IP. eg. if it is a linksys which I own or a Dlink which a friend of mine has you enter this ip in your browser. 192.168.1.1 their will be a status screen. with the ip the router has leased. try going to http://grc.com GRC and run the shields up security test ... if your behind a router you should appear as stealth in all the port scans.

, man I wasn't paying attention. And what they didn't put it would be listed under your Status tab.
