Fence for downloads to the desktop?

I have RocketDock on the left of my Windows 7 desktop, unhidden, because that's how I like it. But that's where downloads to the desktop go, and I often wind up with downloaded files under the RocketDock launcher.

My question: can I create a fence for desktop downloads which will let me keep them away the left side of the desktop?

Fences has rules you can set.

For instance, you can set all new icons to be directed to a specific fence, or a specific type of icon. There's lots of variations.
