Influence Weirdness

I have submitted a ticket on this.

Playing an immense game as Altarians I found a Yor colony deep in my territory of influence.  It did not flip, undoubtedly because it had the Malevolent trait that makes colonies immune to influence.   However, at turn 201 a weird thing appeared.   Note that the Altarian colonies have influences over 100, while the Yor colony has an influence less than 50.    But the Yor colony has somehow created a narrow band of influence that is capturing two Altarian colonies.

Influence warping in weird ways is a known problem, but thanks for reporting it anyways.

Thanks!   It's the  old thing about who calls about an outage.   If everyone assumes someone else must have, then....

Glad to know that it is known!

Well now the devs are asking for saves that show this problem, so keep reporting this problem until you see it no more.

Hello Bamdorf!

Just wanted to provide an update: I was able to reproduce your issue and went ahead and forwarded the files attached to your ticket to the dev team.

Thank you for being so thorough! :D

Whoo Hooo!   Note the influence of Scherer II, III, and IV was in the hundreds, while the influence of Scherer V (Yor) was less than fifty.   Light blue border is Altarian, Purple border is Yor influence.

Influence is definitely bugged.
