Fences Labels don't respond to mouse clicks

Fence Labels don't respond to mouse clicks. I can't move Fences, I can't delete a Fence, I can't get the options menu to drop down when clicking on it. Worked fine for 2/3 of the time trial period but then stopped responding. Shows 10 days left on the free trial period.

The icons in the Fences respond fine and from a right click on the Desktop the Configure Fences choice works fine but I can't find anything in there to help me. Am I missing something?

Could you have possibly locked the Fences?

Right click on the Desktop, choose View and then see if Lock Fences is checked.
