Start8 resets taskbar on reboot every time

Is there a way to stop Start8 from resetting the taskbar on each and every reboot? Programs pinned to the taskbar and toolbars all disappear and need to be re-added on every reboot. It seems something is broken with Start8.

Start8 has no code to do that and the taskbar is provided by Windows, not Start8.

Are you sure it is Start8 causing it?
