Changing size of desktop icon and text size

Hi all.  Happy New Year.  I am really struggling with changing things in SkinStudio without a proper manual for version 8.  So, I am probably going to be asking a lot of questions.  How do I change the size of the desktop icons and their associated text?

Thank you.

Skinstudio is only for Re-dsigning the Operating System's "Look & Feel/Design" not for Icon work.

-As Gaspershooters said, "IconPackager & Icon developer" is used for such purposes.

You can use Master skinner Vampothikas tutorial for Latest skinstudio as the basics are the same : https://forums.stardock.com/447931/page/1/#3498990

Okay, maybe  the icon can't be changed.  But the font and font size can.  Can you help me located that, please?

Uhm you can change the size of your desktop icons without any 3rd party program.
It is a windows build in feature.

Here is how:
Go to an empty part of your desktop left click on it once.
Now hold your "ctrl key" or (STRG) now use the "middle mouse" button to scroll to change the size.
:O   woah! AMAZING
You just cant size them separately

PS: For changing the Font i would need to know what version of windows is in use
also how advanced are you in the use of windows?

OK, unless I missed it, the tutorial doesn't show you how to change the font and font size of the text under the desktop icons.  If it is in there, can someone point me to the right portion of the tutorial?  And if it isn't in there, can someone point me to the right part of Skin Studio?  Thanks.

It's been said several times that this is not a function of SkinStudio.  You can change the icon size in Windows itself.

Sheesh... all you do is right click on the desktop, select View, and then pick Large, Medium or Small icons. To change the font size, right click again on the desktop and select Personalize, then towards the bottom on the right side, click on Display. You can set your font size there, but understand that it may mess up other areas, especially if you are using Windowblinds also.

The fast and easy way to make items (such as icons and text) on your desktop a different size is to simply change your resolution.

Island Dog, I stated that I was wrong about that.  But, SkinStudio DOES allow you to change the font size of text on icons.  I have seen different themes have different font sizes on text of icons.

For example, the themes that come with WindowBlinds have different font sizes on text for icons.  The Concept theme has text size on fonts a lot smaller than say Diamond.  Okay, where can I change that font size for text for icons?

Thank you.
