Autohide Desktop when logged in by Remote Desktop
Feature Request
Thank-you for this software. It has made keeping my desktop icons organized much easier!
I have a computer with 4 screens. When I log onto the computer through remote desktop (RDP) all my icons get jammed up onto one screen AND the screen is painfully slow to re-draw because it has to keep drawing all the jammed up icons.
So my work around is to hide all the icons using fences double click feature right after I logon.
It would be nice if the type of session was detected and the icons were hidden automatically. You could tie the action in with a mechanism that stops the icons from moving to fit the terminal window too.
Snapshot needs something for the problem too. Once I was logging in from out of town and did not return for a whole week. When I got back, Fences had saved the jammed up desktop every day eliminating the snapshots of the good desktop. So something is needed to keep the bad desktop from overwriting the good desktop. Maybe archive the one before a major change. Or don't save a snapshot if nothing has changed.
Thx,
Mark
