Hi

What version of DeskScapes are you running? (do you own?

What exactly is the issue your are having?

I am running the full version of DeskScapes 8.20 and all is great.

Where did you get Desckscapes 8.2? I just bought mine yesterday and it is 8.

There are two error messages:

 The other is a notification that Desckscapes is not compatible with my version of windows. (8.1)

I'm running Deskscapes 8.2 on Windows 8.1  and as you can see all works fine

for me and making a lot of new dreams with Dream Maker 3 no problems.

Maybe a Codec problem ?

Do You have a DVD Play Software installed on your computer?

Windows 8 & 8.1 Does not have DVD player  (codec) software installed anymore.

DeskScapes does not include Mpeg4 (dvd) codecs .

I own Nero 12, and all dreams play fine, I have not tried Dreammaker, but AzDude says he has no problems.

Did you buy it from  the StarDock Store?

Downoad ObjectDeskTop Manager from Your Account page, it will update the software for you.

Include the url of this thread and any info like the logs above.

Keep the 'autoreply' - it will go to the email linked to your account. If you don't see it, check your spam folder in that email account. It will have your ticket number. Don't reply to it...only reply to a signed email from and actual Support person.

Support will answer after the holiday...probably Monday or Tuesday...but there's a good chance this thread will be visited by a Support person before next week. If you see it hasn't, "bump" it so that it will catch the eye of those folks.

Hope your holiday was good despite the frustration...:)
