Issues with IconPackager

Hi guys, running Win7 HP 64-bit and I'm having a mare trying to work with IconPackager. First off, the Settings section seems useless, whatever options I tick or untick nothing changes, for example in Settings - System Settings - Include Icon Sections I have 4 options ticked and yet my menu never changes, showing 7 options at all times. Secondly, the icons I applied have recently started to show artifacts, as if they're low resolution icons. This didn't happen before and I'm not sure if the problem will rectify itself.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Sadly IP has some unresolved issues which have been floating awhile, alas no permanent solutions. I would have recommend that you apply the theme again with high resolution icon sets. On the Menu part,it happened............

Having said that,IP is still the one and only that can change the system icons once for all, although not perfect.

Thanks for your reply Gaspershooters. Are you saying the Menu options are bugged? Nothing seems to work...

I managed to fix the low resolution issue. I went to the folder where IP saved my icon package and saw that there was an additional folder named Colored which contained normal resolution copies of all the icons  8C , so I replaced the default ones with the icons from the Colored folder and now they appear just fine. Weird...

Still, I can't tell you how annoying the menu options are! Right now, under Icons & Cursors the menu list contains Desktop, Start, Folders, Drives, Others and Files (never mind I deselected the options to display Start, Others, and Files). Then as my cursor hovered over the menu bar I noticed a tiny pop-up as if it's highlighting another option. Lo and behold, the Quick Launch Icon menu is somehow hiding underneath the rest of the menu bar, probably followed by the rest of the menu options...

*Facepalm*

In fact I haven't try IP since WinXP,yet in that time, one of menu icons kept reverted to default after I reboot,no to mention other ones which I cannot remember. Anyway, you may reverted all of icons to default, then reply again, then manually change ones that "reluctant".  Also, keep in mind, some of software may hinder the efficiency, such as the 3rd party startmenu,anti-virus,etc.
