Start 8 Problem

Start 8 Menu not working

Is there a program to completely uninstall the Start 8 program, the Windows uninstall does not completely get rid of the old program.  I have uninstalled the Start 8 program and then reloaded but the new version still does not work properly on either of my computers.  I am currently running the version 1.40 on both of my computers and it works fine on both of them.

What is not being removed and what problems are you having?

The old options are still showing so I know that it has not removed everything.

 

When I click on the Start8 taskbar icon, the first panel is not complete and when I click on show all programs it is not much better and there is no up and down function.    The second panel is completely empty where the older version show a control panel function and other functions.  I am not sure if the search function worked or not.

I have reinstalled the program several times including using the Windows add/remove function and also the built in remove included with the Start8 program.

 

I will just wait until another release later that 1.41 as I finally got the old version 1.40 loaded on both of my computers and it works like it should.
