SkinStudio 8 - Guide / Manual

Sadly there is no manual Jeff, you learn it by using it and by trial and error. SkinStudio itself needs a lot of work to be user friendly and intuitive, maybe in the future, who knows....

If you are trying to something specific and make a thread for answers, many people here can and will help you. 

I would first suggest you look around SS and try some things as LightStar said. At that point when you get stuck ask away.

One master skinner has written a tutorial,have no idea does that can apply in SS 8 though,but it's really comprehensive and useful for newbies.

Works PERFECT for Sks 8, -A couple of new things missing, but no Biggie
