cannot get patch 1.2

from Stardock Forums

I recently re-installed my copy of Galactic Civilization 1 and attempted to down load the 1.2 patch and received the following message:

 

An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator.

 

Is there anyplace else I could get the patch?

If you have registered the game, you can just download the whole latest version here.

I also cannot get the 1.2 patch, and when I try to register, it says my key is invalid. Please help.

If you can't register or registered long ago and forgot the account you used, contact support@stardock.com and they should be able to help.
