I looking to find out if the new version 1.40 is compatible with a Terminal Server running MSServer2012 R2 and if so what would the licensing requirements be?
Yes, it will be when the corporate version is released (week maybe). For licensing, you would need a license for each real and potential seat. Meaning, if you have 50 unique users using Start8 on average, but could have 500 unique users, you need 500 licenses. You can get a quote here:

Hi,
I don't see any "different" Start8 version that is supposed to be compatible with 2012R2 RDS.
Is that version exists at the present time ?
I have installed the standard version and it seems to work fine except that the color of the task bar is allways the same as the background and I can't change that.
Is it a bug, a compatibility issue, a configuration issue, a vesrion issue ?
I am on 1.41
We would love to deply 2012R2 RDS to our clients with Start8 !! Good stuff guys.
