OD is for me deadware

I switched over to RocketDock with the stack addon and I think I'll never look back to OD unless Stardock finally wants to move their arses and release a better verison for W8.....right now is simply slow and buggy. My tabbed dock is big, it has shortcuts for almost everything in my system, OD delays windows start, sometimes the reserve edge doesn't work, sfter closing the task manager OD freezes for 10 seconds, I've had enough.

Also reported my problems multiple times systematically with lots of patience and the support team is just unable of acknowledge the problems...the developers team always takes ages to update and updates aren't big enough to make a change.

Thanks OD! you served me well for about 10 years, now I'm sad to say bye bye.

My friend you have something going on with your computer or with the install. I use tabs and there's something like about 50 short cuts being used and there is absolutely no problem at all. OD loads quickly and works like it's supposed to.

You say that OD worked fine for a long time for you. When this happens it tells me that there's something going on with your computer.

I've been using OD for about as long as it's been around. FYI.

OD worked for a long time but on a different OS (or OSs). I wonder at what you state about the Support team acknowledging your problem. They might have said they couldn't duplicate it, but that doesn't mean they're doubting you. If they did, they wouldn't spend a lot of time with you, right?

My thought is that you should check to see what other software you might have installed or updated at the time your troubles started...for what it's worth.

The fact that 'it still works' doesn't cover the fact, that ObjectDock HAS several issues and hasn't been updated for a long time. For me it's a shame that Stardock still is so slow at these things... OD still isn't 64bit ready for example...
