Windows 8.1.1 Compatibility?

I have Windows 8.1 on several machines using Start8 to maintain my sanity.  Any word on what problems W8.1.1 update will cause with the latest release of Start8?  Will there be a Start8 update soon for W8.1.1?  Or... has MSFT finally got it right in W8.1.1 making Start8 somewhat obsolete?

Generally the current build will work just fine.  There are some niggles if you use the Windows 8 style menu option and we have an updated build in internal beta right now ready for the release.

As for changes in 8.1.1.  I imagine the need for Start8 will remain the same for you as it was with 8.1.

When Start8 is running on Windows 8.1.1, the bottom edge of taskbar buttons stops working. Has this bug been fixed in your internal build? :)

In fact the bug looks like on main screen hot conners and charm stop working after time, but on secondary screen keep working fine.

Disable/Enable hot conners does not help. Only reboot needed.

I have the current 1.31 working fine on 8.1.1 - it still opens the start menu :).

The need may be a bit less with the updates brought by 8.1.1 but there still is no start menu available.

We just released the 1.4 update which you can download in the usual way.

Great ! And it works fine but after Nvidia updates their GeForce Experience program it requires restart to return Charms and original start menu on second monitor screen.  Does it make sense that I have taskbar in the bottom of the first screen and on top on the second ?

Issues with the NVidia software would need to be reported to them I think.

Its not exactly the Nvidia problem - also some apps seems affect situation and still got charms and original start button disabled (

But now it takes much longer time  - in 1.31 Win button and charms are gone after about half an hour or so. Now in 1.40 version about a day or more keep staying.
