DeskScapes setup stops responding...

I just downloaded the new DeskScapes after having it on an older machine a while ago.  I downloaded the setup file, but whenever I click on it, it asks for admin permission to run (which I grant) and an icon pops up on my toolbar indicating the running program.  Problem is, a larger window never opens on my desktop and nothing ever happens... eventually the programs reads as not responding.  Any ideas?  I've tried running it in compatability mode for Windows 8 and Windows 7.

Temporarily disable any antivirus application(s) you may have running, and run the installation again.

Are you using SDC or ODM to download/update?  If so, try downloading a fresh copy of DS from your account page at the store instead: LINK and see if it will install.
