Start menu too big

Start menu too big for my Sony hybrid laptop screen!

I have just installed Sart8 onto my Hybrid Sony laptop. It works alright, of sorts. The only trouble is it is too big for the screen while the screen is in landscape mode. There does not seem to be a way to sort this prob out?

Any help would be great

Go into Start8 Configuration and to the Configure tab. Adjust "Allocate room for at least" until you reach the menu size required.

ALL sorted now. Thanks for the reply Russell. In the end I changed what shortcuts that are on view on the right hand side. The adjust allocation for at least ?? large icons made no difference what so ever on my laptop.

The "Allocate room for at least" minimum appears to be about 8 icons now even if you set to one or zero. I'm using version 1.4 of Start8 on Win 8.1.
