Star Trek Armada 3 keeps crashing

I don't know if this is the mod's problem or not, I have a feeling it might be the base game, because every time I validate the files on Steam, it keeps telling me that one file is missing and will be reacquired.

Validation will always say 1 file has been reacquired.

 

1. When does it crash? In game, at loadscreen, after enabling the mod in the in game menu?

2. Did you follow all the installation instructions recommended in the mod documentation? From the sounds of it they recommend different steps than most mods, like enabling it via editting the "EnabledMods.txt" file and using LAA.

Yeah, turns out it was the LAA, didn't enable it at first.
