+ Letters can now be sold in shops (just to allow players to clear them out of their inventory).
I've found a letter that still has a zero value and can't be sold.

Is there a special closed beta that you were invited to? as far as I can tell 1.6 has not been released yet.
In the steam account it displays "-beta" at the end . I just assumed it was 1.6. I don't think I'm running the 1.5 beta.

Check the version down the bottom of the LH load screen.

How does one subscribe the get the 1.6 Beta? I see steam has a beta access code but I don't see any place to acquire it?
I checked my Steam screen and I have the same beta listing you do and my game screen says 1.5. I don't think there is a beta 1.6 yet.
With the exception of FE/LH, Sins and civ5, all the total war games are my son's stuff.
