right click on Start8 works but left click takes you to Metro home

rebuilding a system with 8.1 and 1.31 of Start8...left click on the button takes me to the Metro menu...right click show Configure Start8, etc...

Tried unistalling reinstalling...even installed 1.20 with same results...

I place a ticket but the problem is my email account has changes and there is no way for me to login, since the site says the password is wrong and I can't reset due to no access to the old email account...

Are you sure you have not set the Start8 menu to be fullscreen Windows 8 style by mistake on the style page in the Start8 configuration screen?

Also check the control page for what should happen when you are at the desktop.  The first combobox offers settings for the start button.

I imagine it was one of those settings then as uninstalling would not have deleted them, but a clean windows installation would have no registry keys for Start8.
