[1.5] Casting the volcano spell near a quest, makes the quest inaccessible

In my current game, an AI was building the towers, so I declared war and nuked three of his cities with the volcano spell. Two dragon eye quest were within the city limits and were partially buried by the spell.

Later in the game, I tried to go into those quest and found them inaccessible. I used the lower land spell to uncover them, but it still wasn't working.

I suggest changing the code so that quest are unaffected by spells.

Do you mean you had already started the quest sequence, but had not yet visited the 2 sites that are now BURIED AND CRUSHED UNDER A MOUNTAIN? I thought that Curgen's Volcano already removed quest markers, but if not, it would be good to do so.  If that breaks the ability to complete a linked quest (like the Dragons Eye) I'd personally chalk that up to casualties of war.

Or do you mean instead that you had not yet started the quests, but were able to reveal the quest initiator markers by using Lower Land, but were unable to actually trigger them?  Again, it seems to me best that the triggers just be removed.

End of Crastiloowa's quote

Yea, I wasn't able to finish the sequence, and I'm also not able to access the master quest, as I'm not able to find the "prerequisite quest" anywhere on the map.

And what's this about being "crushed under a mountain". It's a game, not reality.. ;)

I've cleared the map of all monsters and defeated all but one faction who isn't a threat, so I thought I'd bide my time doing quests.

I'm attempting to "run out the clock", as that's the only win condition that I haven't completed yet, but I've got about 200 turns to go.

I guess I'll spend the remaining turns building cities.

The volcano spell actually replaces the location with new terrain data. It literally destroys all entities on that terrain permanently (no going back on that one) There is no way to revive these quests or things destroyed by this spell. (maybe heroes will show up at your nearest town recovering)

OK, thanks. Oh well, it was worth a try. :)
