Scrollbar blank gap in QtCreator and Qt applications

I am working on a skin and I have a pretty nasty issue with QtCreator and any applications using the Qt framework. They are showing a quite nasty gap in the middle of scrollbars. With the theme I am working on the gap is 35px large, with other themes it gets a bit smaller. Here are a few examples of the issue:

  

The first one is the theme I am currently working on, the second and third themes are the "Corporate" and "Modern" themes included in WindowBlinds.
I have noticed the issue in my theme since long time ago, but I thought I missed some parts. Unfortunately, it's not, the issue happens with any theme I tried. Also, it happens in Qt compiled applications as well.

Before reporting this issue to Stardock I'd like to know if anyone else has the same issue either with QtCreator/Qt applications or with any other application, and if you have solved it somehow.

Looks to me like the left and right paint margins on the vertical and horizontal dragbar images are overlapping on the images.  What skins are those? Does it do it with all Windowblinds skins, or just certain ones?o_O
