docklets with trails when in ghost mode

my favorite mod is ghost mode, and lately my docklets are moving with trails behind them when in ghost mode, so that the docklets look indistinct. when i unclick ghost mode, they are clear and sharp again. i have used ghost mode for a long, long time. so i would like to use it again. what can be done to fix this problem? thanks!
