But that is unfortunate. It looked like this was maybe the one hope I had of cleaning this thing up.

Stardock guys: is it ever likely that the new Outlook can be tweaked by WB?

Office has it's own "skin", and it's not friendly to skinning with something like WindowBlinds.  So unless Microsoft changes it, there's not much chance of it happening.

Thanks for the slipstick link - of course I'd tried the alternative 'shades' but it hardly helps.

As it is, I reckon a genius could do this. It's perfectly possible to intercept directx calls that outlook makes when its rendering the screen. A true genius could redirect those calls and do some re-colouring.

Well if nothing else there's some comedy genius in here, it would seem... 

But joking aside, I don't know how WB works so was just hoping there was already some interceptor magic in there that would help save my eyes from melting from this awful interface
