Any Intention to Improve Stability for ICO?

Minidumps and DCs are really bad with the latest patch....there were times where MDs were almost non-existent, so I know it is at least possible for this game to be fairly stable...

This isn't just me, or my computer, or my drivers, or my internet....in my most recent game 5 people MDed at the same...I'd like to say that is the worst of it, but sadly it is more closer to the norm....it is a rare sight for a whole game to complete without at least multiple people dropping, and these games are less than an hour!

All I want to know is, are the devs even aware of this issue and are there any plans to improve stability?  I have seen no mention of stability improvements in the 1.82 patch...

Please do not let ICO die....already veteran players are moving on to other games simply because they are tired of ICO's instability....

We haven't made any code changes that would have affected this. Currently we have no plans to look into it further apart from the minidumps that are reported back to Steam.

I don't know if the issue is the game or ICO itself (SP does seem to be pretty stable), I can only speak for what people are experiencing on ICO....

If a runtime error occurs, is a dump file still created?  Majority of errors I have gotten are runtime errors, which do not explicitly state that a dump file is created...

A C++ run-time error doesn't generate anything unfortunately. We've only ever seen that when a player runs out of memory space or something else crashes in the background.

hi,

I dont know if this is related, but I get frequently disconnected from ICO midgame.

Game just reverts to the start menu with a note "disconected from ironclad online"

Any ideas how I can prevent this?

thanks

Do you have to restart the game after it goes "back" to the main menu, with the game HUD still up for some reason. I've gotten that a few times as well.

My paging file is more than big enough and my graphics drivers are always kept up to date....what else could crash in the background that would cause sins to be affected?
